I kept an eye on the website until around 1pm, waiting for the storms to pass. The area had picked up about 1.5 inches of rain yesterday and another half inch today, so I decided to take my chances on a solid two inches of rain around Mt. Sherman and made my way to Indian Creek.
I was surprised to see so much water pouring out of Tunnel Cave Falls, but the Eye was still bone dry! It’s been over a decade since I first visited this spot, and I still haven’t caught it with water. Now that the rope section is a bit easier to navigate, I might just have to start making more trips until I finally catch water flowing through the Needle.
